Ladies Panties - A Brief

Ladies you have the opportunity to get a nice "briefing" on what constitutes ladies underwear. The broad definition for underwear states that it is any garment that is worn next to the skin. We will be speaking strictly about ladies panties also known as briefs.

When the term brief is used we usually associate it with men's underwear; however, the term also applies to ladies underwear. Briefs, panties, grannie undies as some would put it are actually the best known and most popular type of panties worn. You probably have a pair in your underwear drawer. The panty tends to give fairly full coverage of the bottom and the waistband sits at or near the waistline. Not very sexy, huh, but pretty darn comfortable. Many designs are fairly attractive these days and include some bikini underwear.

Something with a little more zing and plenty more sexy is the thong. A thong is a type of panty that offers minimal coverage in the front and has thin sides that come to a T shape in the rear. The T shape gives you very little coverage of the rear. Ladies loves to wear these for tight or close fitting clothing in order to avoid the appearance of panty lines.

Now to get really revealing is the g-string. A g-string offers very little coverage at all. A narrow piece of cloth passes between the buttocks and is attached to a band around the hips forming a T. Some ladies wear these panties every day.

Whether you are searching for a sheer thong, g-string or just plain old briefs remember that each one seems to hug our body a little differently. I find that each type of panty or brief serves a particular purpose for me. The regular brief is great for when I need to do the everyday household chores or when I feel like bumming around in my sweats; the thongs are fantastic when I'm in my business pants suits and tight jeans; and the g-strings are great when I'm getting playful in the bedroom with my honey. No matter what your style or taste chances are you have at least two types of these panties laying in your underwear drawer. If not, it's time for you to get shopping!
